Importance of Jamming

This business of jamming seems to be infectious with the boys at Japalang. More important we ask why do we jam? Sometime we can't express what we want to say or do not know how to express a feeling. Perhaps wanking some sound out could be an answer. A little bit like a cause and effect situation but noise making is instant gratification. We like to play with instrument we are not good at so we can deal with an unfamiliar medium. So here we trying to say something we don't understand!
